Zaire and JT were always the starting backcourt and M-Law was pretty deliberately not asked to do much if any ballhandling if it could be avoided. At 6'7" he was pretty much what you'd have to call a small forward rather than a guard. His only shot at the pros would have been to become a guard, but, well, he didn't make the pros.
