Barry Odom is a cog, not a captain. He was the defacto DC last year as well so count the last 2 years in there as well. While win/loss records aren't everything.....wait, they are everything because they're a reflection of all the moving parts. What my observations record is that BO performs well in a nurturing environment under a HC who wins but is not himself capable of being a HC at an elevated level. he talks a good game when he's not lighting things on fire.

ps apologies for starting this and not coming back, schedule prevented me from doing so.
