The computer data should have alerted the officer to the likelihood that the approaching aircraft was not a military plane, the official said. ''He had the info in front of him,'' the official said. The officer has not been identified. General Crist, a Marine Corps officer, recommended that the officer be given a non-judicial letter of reprimand, the most lenient punishment available to the military....
