10% reserve means that the bank has retained 10% of it's deposits - loaning or investing 90%. Without the fed, some would go closer to 0% reserve.

It's one thing to debate fed policies, it's another thing to advocate for the federal government repudiating it's debt (the op that called me out.) If you'll note, my response that you bit on, was titled "ummmm, in your world..." - that's a bizarro world that will never happen and would be a disaster.

I'll stick to my prior post that ummmm has no economic/financial sense.
