stories that refute your premise that the protests are no big deal and the owners are rightfully ignoring the fans who are upset about the way the owners are handling it.
You are required to respond to all of them. If you feel like responding you could link to story that says attendance and viewership have not been affected, or that any change is statistically insignificant.
Whether or not "National Sponsors" have cancelled is not a solid backing of your case. If they negotiate lower advertising fees when contracts expire, or new sponsors pay lower fees, or advertising revenues to the owners are less than they would have been, than the player protests are reducing their revenues.
If ticket sales are adversely affected it will lower their revenues.
If media outlets negotiate lower prices when contracts renew, or even give lower increases than would have been the case sans the protests, then it is hurting revenues.
Over time lower revenues should impact player and couching salaries.
