even highly ranked players. Even with Kentucky's stacked freshman class on an annual basis, it takes them time to develop and they have their share of disappointing seasons. I know Michael Porter will be good and we can count on Puryear being pretty good. Barnett needs to be more consistent. Tilmon looks encouraging but has to develop. The only known solid guard we have is Phillips - some good potential at guard but never know what you have until they hit the floor. I expect some disappointments early but I think we will almost surely make the tournament with at least a mid level seed. How deep we go depends on how well our guards develop. That's the biggest unknown. For once, we should have a fairly solid front line.
