The biggest problem I see with Lock

he's the same QB he was when he took over for Mauk 2 years ago. Sure he puts up video game numbers against Eastern Michigan and SMS, but his career completion percentage against power 5 teams is under 50%. Some of that is WR's inability to catch in traffic or get separation against average or better corners. But most is the play is pretty much over if option 1 is taken away.
