Barry was the best option at the time. There were no other options. It was going to be an exhaustive search with little talent willing to come here. The campus is reeling, the program is reeling, Mack Rhodes wants to get out of the cluster#$%@ that appeared to be a gem the year before. Barry gave us the opportunity to get to this point. To be 2 years down the road and the train was back on track or to evaluate what we needed to do without CS1950 hanging over the campus. We are in the latter scenario.
