hire. He was totally in bed with the idea including every single live interview I heard during that time. Clearly there was a narrative that "Odom handled himself like a head coach, will be a head coach some day etc. etc." I have no idea if that was pushed by Matter's relationship with Pinkel or what. But you're exactly right- if his tune has changed in a week it's because of outside forces and again he's part of the narrative. I have lost total respect for Matter over the situation
