a marginalized community is simply a group of people with certain characteristics or identifiers in common that operate or live on the margins of society; i.e. and is generally and comparatively powerless. Often the marginalized have been targeted by law, such as drug dealers and users, the homeless, etc.

How do you join one? There are many ways to "join" one. Targeted by law is one way.

How many communities are there in our country? Countless

Do you stay affiliated...? Maybe. This isn't voluntarily joining a club.

Does a member...? Yes
