the wrong word: How about "competitive"? Even KY is competitive these days. As are programs like Utah, K-State and others that have even less home-grown talent than Missouri.

Yeah, it would be great to compete for conference and national championships, but right now I'd settle for a team that doesn't embarrass itself and the University every time they take the field.
