1) an NFL playoff team coach isn't going to college this offseason.

2) Any coach we'd be after would likely be playing a bowl in which case they'd likely not quit until around the end of the NFL season, too. Yes, it is possible we hire a coach who makes a bowl and they are willing to leave before the bowl but that is no guarantee.

3) No matter NFL or college....there is a good chance the next coach will fail at Mizzou.
