Sounds about right. He had a part of putting Mizzou in a very tough spot. If it was me, I would have done a little checking on Butler. Hell, these stupid players were not going to save his life. Butler's sorry assed life was never in danger and that would have been easy to figure out.
He could have looked at Butler running into Wolfe's car. He could have had a PI check out the bogus hunger strike. But he didn't, nobody did, and here we are.
On balance, GP did great things at Mizzou. If nothing else he proved you could win here. Not so sure now.
