of course, who knows who is supposed to cover who with the scheme in some plays (like the one where three of our players all ran to one receiver) but it is pretty obvious that Beisel was out of place on the bad plays. Same with Acy.
Yeah there are some bright spots. Ulmer started bad then played well it seems after. Cheadle played really well. Garrett played well. D-line was so-so with some guys showing strength, especially at the end.
But, I think Steck saw the weaknesses in the D pretty quickly and they went after the same guys over and over. I don't think they even threw Cheadle's way more than a couple of times. They just used the misdirection, rolling pocket and play action to get Beisel to bite or Acy to overrun. That was pretty much it.
