As long as I have the logs showing it was checked prior to and after operation and its last certification from a service center, I wouldn't be afraid of anyone's challenges in court.
One of the few times I got erroneous readings on a stationary radar I finally determined it was picking up the movement of lawn mower blades when a guy far down the street was getting to the end of a row and lifting the deck to make a 180 to go the other way. Erroneous reading was right at the mph where I would have started writing tickets.
I moved elsewhere to avoid any conflicts.
