If nothing changes, that is an accepted rise in temperature. That doesnt mean 97% or whatever stat you make up of scientists agree.

But if it DOES happen, it will be because we didnt do enough (or anything, if it were up to you). And it would, in that case, be an extinction event. I dont think it will be the end of humanity, but the loss of several species. A rapid decrease in biodiversity is the definition of an extinction event.

And while it is possible -- potentially even likely if nothing changes -- according to current research, what you said is a lie.
