at the trade deadline, just for insurance of a possible injury.

Lynn is good. Too good to be just an "insurance" guy in case of an injury, but not good enough to be an ace and trade away your #1 prospect. If we didn't have Cahill, I was all for it. Now, he just doesn't fit what the Royals need, especially if the price tag is Mondesi.
