backwards. There is no white privilege. Nothing is handed to a person for being white.
But, that doesn't mean there aren't roadblocks that others, such as blacks face. Some of it driven by behaviors of a subset of the population being a constant focus in news crime reports.

If the same type of white people were rounded up from rural areas and dropped in the inner city where the major news reporting services focus, I would bet overall perceptions would be altered.
