Poor working relationship with his boss, lack of a necessary extension, offer of a raise and greater stability elsewhere being the 3 primary factors.
However that is completely unrelated to the topic. When Kim took over the MU program the 2013-14 team had produced 23 wins. It wasn't until midway through Kim's second season that he and Rhoades decided to vacate those wins in an attempt to distract from his disaster and place the blame elsewhere. Its an easy to confirm fact that Kim didn't inherit a program coming off a zero win season. It requires someone to have no understanding of a proper timeline to believe that.
Being a big fan of MU basketball who follows the program, its kind of impossible for me to subscribe to such a fake notion of what transpired.
