Great story about a co-worker who got involved

with a couple of drunks while out with their wives. Sambos at 367 and Redman Road in Norco. Drunks were being extremely obnoxious to others in the restaurant and said something to co-worker's wife and his friend's wife.
Both STL County officers, they decided to tell these 2 to shut up and the fight was on. Friend remembers pounding one guy right into another patron's plate of mashed potatoes.
9-1-1 gets called and STL County shows up and takes the 2 to jail.
My friend gets called into his Lieutenant's office to get his ass chewed because the manager at Sambo's was p*ssed. Lt. tosses a bill from Sambo's for over a thousand dollars worth of damages and says "what am I supposed to do about this?"
Friend says "Did someone get arrested? Let them pay it." and turns around and walks out.
