Sterk may have hired Martin anyway and he'd have gone out and gotten some other good players.

I mean, what if Stewart had not recruited Dooling and had stayed until his late 70s? Would we have not gone to the Elite 8 in 2002? What if Snyder had been a choir boy instead of a drug addict? Would he have won a national title?
