The laughter was legitimized after the first year in the "best conference in college football".
Then all hell broke loose.
Of course, it wasn't Coach Pinkel's doing, or the talent and effort of the Tiger team that led to consecutive division crowns, it had to be THE REST OF THE LEAGUE WAS WEAK"!

If you take the time to look at college football history you will find that there are about ten programs that are decade in and out, the best in the nation. There is a reason or maybe two or three they maintain their ability to recruit TOP athletes: MONEY, reputation, facilities, fan support, friendly tutors and professors following "patient" registrars and test examiners, VERY expensive coaching, and MONEY.

I will bet you this: if you will kick in ten million dollars PER YEAR for eight years you will see the Missouri Tigers in the (end of season) Top Five nearly every year after the first three years.

Pick the coach you want. Pick the players you want. Pick the company you want supplying our new YUGE video scoreboardS (need one in each endzone. Pick the companies you want in charge of CONSTANT updates to the stadium, athletic dormitory and Training facilitieS (need multiple facilities). Pick (and fund) the legal team we will need to keep this team - The BEST money can buy - on the field.

Heck it might be a little more than that.
