That one can even argue it is OK to end the life of a being who, in 45 seconds will be out of the birth canal and clearly a full, living person, is unconscionable. Or that someone can justify ending the life of a baby that can be taken from the womb several months early if in distress and is clearly a living human being is beyond description.

It makes no logical sense that we would take a process that we all agree ends in life, but then place the burden of proof for when life begins on those who wish to protect the life. If one is moral, the inclination would be to err on the side of preserving life until it can be clearly proven one is not murdering. We do the exact opposite.

That being said, killing doctors who provide abortions is doubling down on the wrong. There is no justification for it.
