olympics, which you keep strawman'ing to) the only *individual* achievement that the general public seems to care about, in my opinion, is the Heisman Trophy.

TEAM titles (conference & national), CFB playoff, NCAA Final Four, College World Series appearances, and the Heisman Trophy. That's it (IMO).
