I'm not the one who tries to centrally devise a market for health insurance. This problem is on you and your ilk, and your meddling in a market with actuarial risks.

With that said, in a free market, it would be expected that older people would have pay more for health insurance because they pose a higher risk of needing expensive medical care. The natural solution to this problem is to prioritize and save your money, so that you can afford to cover your bills in your advanced age. You have a life time to do this.
