don't understand that.

I only follow a recruit if they're interested in playing for my alma mater, and I only tweet at a recruit to tell them "congrats" or "Welcome to Mizzou" or "you made the right choice", etc., to make them feel better about their decision. In other words, to be a good fan.

Imagine if a recruit announced their commitment to Mizzou and got ZERO replies or acknowledgement from fans... i.e. *crickets chirping*. If every fan had the attitude that "meatiger" expresses above, then that's exactly what would happen, and it would make the recruit feel like sh*t.
