and rationalize and then like we understand.
people are people, they are motivated to do things by their personal wants which are defined by nature and nurture in differing quantities depending on the person.
evil and good are truly rather silly abstractions.
if a dude is a serial killer, there's a good chance he's got an abnormality allowing it or causing it, either inherent or something in his past that triggered it.
Calling it "evil" is just a tag.
