Mizzou history and one of the worst in P5 history is not trashing him. Those are simple facts. It was a bad hire, P5 schools do NOT hire from the DII ranks.
Other than the fact that he nearly destroyed the program in his three years I have no hard feelings for the guy, he is a Mizzou legend and I would have loved to see him become Norm 2.0.
But his comments, and those of his people, are quickly destroying any good will that was left over. He really needs to clam up, muzzle his people and try to recapture his DII mojo.
