To point to the number and say that the number of transfers alone means something is to take a number out of context when assessing whether or not it is a good thing or a bad thing. The number is not the be all end all of the discussion. Yet, even the claim that the number is the most ever has not been established. So there has been nothing proved. There are a lot of unsupported conclusions thrown about, but no hard facts which have been documented which backs them up.
