I can't. No recruit has ever said that.

A coaches job is to sell a recruit. Just because a coach can sell a recruit that he's a good coach doesn't mean it's a reality. Using your logic no D1 coach who has ever recruited a player has been subpar or unable to effectively do their job. It makes zero sense. Recruits sign up for coaches who sell them. Kim Anderson is coaching D2 right now. He was a terrible coach. If CJ Roberts thinks he is or was a good coach then I will disagree with him. Obviously the record of Kim's time here stands as proof of how bad of a coach he was. You can choose to ignore that. CJ Roberts can choose to ignore that. But the facts are that we have never had a coach with a worse record and there are only 2 or 3 other coaches in the last 30 years of P5 basketball who have had worse records. If that isn't the sign of a bad coach to you then I don't think you'll ever admit a coach was a bad D1 coach.
Has their ever been a bad D1 coach in your opinion? Because every D1 coach has had players commit to play for them.
