how good the coach is. There are multitudes of factors including how well they like the coach and staff, the campus, the school, the facilities, and a lot of other factors. Look at what Lorenzo Romar was able to do on the recruiting trail while failing to make 6 consecutive NCAA tournaments.
And it's pretty damn funny how you give Kim credit for coming in 2nd place with MPJr. As far as I'm aware, Porter never said who was 2nd. He released a top 5 then chose UW. Now Kim was 2nd place in your mind and you believe that proves something.
Kim won 27 games in 3 years. He was the worst coach in our programs history. Quit making up lies.
