I never said to spend 50% of defense spending on entitlements. The idea of that is preposterous.
I would say that cuts to defense may in NO WAY make us "less safe". In fact you might well be able to cut the budget in half and not make us "less safe". Defense spending is not even about defense. It is about the exertion of US influence in the world, not defending the population.
Typical you whine about Germany. They have THE world's best health care. I would readily swap that for a tank.
It is the US CHOICE to spend the money. It is corporate money, corp welfare. Note again for the 20th time, the horror expressed by the corporate community when Poppy Bush alluded to a Peace Dividend at the end of the Cold War. THAT could not happen for our defense boys. We spent $50 million of Raytheon goods last night in a Syrian desert.
It was the US choice to pursue a unipolar foreign policy. It is very good for business too.
As for your being upset with Russia: funny they OWN Trump but that doesn't seem to offend you.
