You think that is good. You prefer to pay more and get less to satisfy some absurd and obscure partisan political point. That will be where we are.
I don't think so.
The generation that is FAST coming up is one of engaged and embraced tolerance and activism and looking out for the common good. It is a generation unsullied by a past of dissing Socialist ideas. NOW STOP - no need to get all excited. We are not going to BECOME SOCIALISTS any more than nearly every country that has single payer health care or parental leave or more time at home and less at the shop or a greater reliance on that which can be sustained despite quarterly earning projections.
We leave these kids a big mess. But I think they are going to be up for the job.
