candidate was not reelected. In three years it will be the dems job to make sure that Trump is not reelected. They would not be doing their job if that were not their stated goal.

That does mean that you shut down government in the interim. The dems have to accept that they are not the party in power at this time. They have no say in the policies, they have no say in appointments. The GOP lived through eight years of biting their tongue and watching Obama move the country further and further to the left. No the dems get to sit and watch as the GOP puts policies in place to mitigate some of that movement.

Remember the famous words of your guy 'Elections have consequences.' You lost, get over it.
