Sorry - but such broad-brush strokes are patently false.

We are not "fighting for the soul of the soul of the country". That is pretty much a meaningless statement to begin with. And NO, your Lenin letter in no way reflects the opinions of Nancy Pelosi. I don't view anyone that disagrees with me to be racist. I agree and disagree with many folks on all kinds of things. It is not a clean divide.

Re-reading your piece caused me to laugh. What you call "Hyper-partisanship" by definition is a two way street and it has not been going on for decades. Is the little man wrong sometimes? For sure. But sometimes it is the courts and the law that protect said little guy. Your statement that "the press is the enemy" will be left on its own until one defines exactly what "the press" is in this case. Though you might want to remember that the only industry mentioned by name in the Constitution is the press - and the protection and defense thereof.
