I'd agree if the Knox's mentioned it more.

I haven't seen the Knox's mention knowing Martin from his recruitment at Cal or anything like that; it comes off as Martin offered Knox at Cal but it didn't go much beyond that.

That article even comes across as if Knox Sr. didn't know much, if anything, about Martin and just recently "researched" him.

They do appear to like Martin which is good and obviously it appears that playing with MPJ is a big plus.
