But that is on the unions, they are the ones giving massive campaign contributions to every candidate across the country with a D behind their name. When you are as virulently single party as they are why would you be surprised when the opposition takes the opportunity to reduce your power.

When I first started teaching I was encouraged to join the union for the protections they afforded. Being young and dumb I did so. It did not take me long to realize that the union was much more about protecting their power base and the status quo than the individual teachers. The union actively thwarted any move to implement any type of school reform and pumped an ungodly amount of funds towards every leftist candidate that could cash a check.

Unions quit being about the workers a long time ago. Right to Work will force them to refocus some of their energy to retain members who will no longer be forced to join.
