schools have always been open shops. No one is forced to join the union. They are the ones who bargain for us during contract negotiations but that is the only union service they provide for non members. There is no real way to negotiate separate union and non union contracts so if the union wants a seat at the negotiation table then they are forced to bargain for all employees.

I would assume, without researching, that is the service they will be providing to non union members.
