European countries have been warning for years that Russia has attempted to meddle with their elections. That they did it to us (or attempted to, depending on your perspective) is not a surprise.
The Russia problem isn't about voting. It's about whether or not Trump is a witting puppet for them. His interactions or connections with Dmitry Rybolovlev, Mammadov, Ilya Aliyev and others maybe be nothing or very problematic. The Commerce Secretary (Wilbur Ross) is former director of the Bank of Cyprus, a bank known to funnel money for the Russian interests. You already know about Flynn and Manafort, and now you're learning about Kushner's connections to Gorkov and VEB. The Russians in question all have direct ties to Putin.
To me, there's a massive amount of smoke screening a giant fire that's about to come to light. I am certain, derived from the gist of many of your posts, that if there were this amount of smoke around a hypothetical Clinton presidency, you'd absolutely think it was a 5 alarm fire. I think that over time this will be born out to be true for Trump and it's not going to be pretty.
