bet you liked it in 2013, etc, etc.
It is really liked by many if you can actually make it to NYC for the Semis & Finals at MSG.
That has always been some must see TV or attendance right before the Final Four! There will a full house in NY & many watching across the country as always!
It is also really substantial if you are a program on the way up or way back up, like MU has, at brief periods of time in its Basketball history, found itself to be.
The NIT was The Tounrnament long before the NCAAs existed or became what it is. That said, I'm well aware of what is & should be desired & would always want my team in the NCAAs, but the NIT is either a nice consolation or better than zip!
"nobody cares" is so far from the truth & simply ridiculous!
C'mon, if the Tigers would have somehow found their way to the NIT this year, the board would have been buzzing about it. Thankfully that didn't happen in retrospect & instead they find themselves in one of the more unique situations of celebrating a most fortuitous circumstance as post season non participant.
