I could definitely see him being a successful recruiter as he makes connections. I'm sure being able to say you are the father of a successful NBA player (assuming MPJ will be one) will help with recruiting.

And your 9-win argument is pointless. He came in to a 19-win team that lost there top 3 players and two of those guys went to the NBA. This year was going to be a struggle for Romar no matter who his assistants were.
