Even though I agree, this would have to be piecemeal. I agree, cut Defense spending by $50B from what it was. Cut where you can as well. For the most part, I dont disagree with his cuts (Id keep NIH and EPA spending, however).

Then, with money saved from here and from tax reform (REAL tax reform, eliminating loopholes and lowering taxes), start to rebuild infrastructure and fund a manned mission to Mars.

But youre right, hes cutting discretionary spending which makes up 3% of the budget. Go after the big dollars, IMO.
