I'm with ya, but I've heard some decent arguments against it

That was the biggest casualty of the move. But some arguments friends have made against bringing​ it back make some sense. For instance, we think we'll eventually capitalize on being the only state school. But as long as we're tired to kU, we'll be little brother. Exactly what was brought up when comparing the NC State Job to us. They'll always be behind North Carolina and Duke. Maybe we're better off on our own.
Another good one was that kU really doesn't benefit from it. They sell out every game, even warm up non cons. They gain nothing by scheduling us. Kansas City gains a lot, and Mizzou gains a lot. kU fans refuse to admit it but they enjoyed the games. But the school gets the same financial benefits whether they play us or not. And most years we don't generate a national following to the game like the 2012 season.
