This is far less slimy than a lot of it.

It's no different than hiring someone like Fulford.

Keatts was basically Fulford when Louisville hired from from Hargrave Military Academy.

Fuller was a Nike rep before he became an assistant.

Delonte Hill was an AAU coach who got jobs because he could bring in Michael Beasley.

Jamall Walker is a hot commodity right now because he can bring Tilmon wherever he goes.

Porter is no different.

As long as MPS is a competent coach, it's not shady at all IMO.
