Yeah, that's exactly who "socialists" are arguing on behalf of.
Not the people who toil in the shadows doing jobs few Americans would ever be willing to do, and none are willing to do for the wages that are paid.
Look, I'm all for law and order, and I would never reserve the right to illegally immigrate to another country without being acutely aware that it could lead to some adverse consequences for me or my family. They made their choices and at a very early point in that decision chain, we Americans cease to be responsible for them.
That said, dehumanizing and demonizing a whole population of desperate people isn't an option I reserve for myself. Especially when they're the engine behind a shadow economy that drastically reduces the cost of much of our produce and construction. Whether or not you're willing to admit it, YOU and YOUR family benefit from it every bit as much as the rest of us do.
My suggestion to you is that you leave your anger and binary way of thinking behind and try formulating a complex, nuanced thought or insight sometime. It would be a welcome departure from the simplistic, provocative posts you normally make. When you finally decide to do that I'll be the first to laud you for it.
