Because we have sucked so bad in hoops he has been able to get away with it, distorting facts, and just general ignorance about the program. Then you have Curtis, the house 'MU fan' who knows nothing also. Yes, Petro knows KU hoops and he is a hopeless and shameful homer who makes excuses for the coach and program that has allowed the players to run amok, and he knows Royals and Chiefs. But this narrative that he is the best and most knowledgeable talking head in KC could not be more wrong. He is the laziest talking head in town for sure. Both St. John and Bukaty are more informed and objective on the Border Patrol. ONCE Petro had Dave Matter on who corrected him so much on his misinformation that it got uncomfortable and exposed him as to not knowing anything MIZZOU. I really like him less than KK because of the lazy and ponmpous factor(s). After dismissing MIZZOU for years in basketball and football too, he takes the role of wet blanket yesterday in minimizing the pivotal hire. We don't know how CM will do, but there is no doubt that its a great hire depending on where we have been the last three plus seasons.
