starting to think the worst way is how it perverts people's morality when it comes to learning (or feeling entitled to know) what other people make in a given year.

It is absolutely no one's business how much money someone makes, and that includes Donald Trump or Barack Obama or whomever. The incomes tax has unfortunately changed this, and that is a real shame.
