#1 target. I don't understand the guys that laugh when an AD tries to land a big fish. Whoopty freaking doo! The guy said no & got a raise. Good for him...that's a perk of being wanted & needed. I'd be more upset if my team didn't at least approach the best to check their interest. Make them say no. If they do, NEXT!
