He has been beaten by a higher seed 4 times, upset a higher seed once, beaten a lower seed 7 times, and been upset by a lower seed twice. I'd bet that his record of being upset only twice in all his tourney appearances is probably one of the better records for coaches that appear in the tourney regularly.
