A couple reasons why this isn't news:
It's old. It is not just coming out now that his phone conversation was recorded. This was known a while ago.
Second: It's an unsubstantiated claim from a guy both sides of the political spectrum have generally looked at as a kook.
What we know is that his conversation with Gaddafi's son was recorded. We don't know by whom. We also know he alerted the executive branch that the call would take place. It's not inconceivable that they would then take this information and get a warrant to tap his phone for that call.
It's not implausible that a criminal wiretapping occurred in Trump Tower, but there's also zero evidence of it.
